Aesthetics. Not ‘Looks’. 
As a brand developer I teach people that it’s not just about a good logo, or colors, or pretty pictures on Instagram.
.
It’s not about the LOOK.
It’s the meaning and philosophy BEHIND the logo, colors, patterns etc. that matters.
.
Yes, some flashy singular instances of beauty might attract quick attention.  But it’s the TOTAL AESTHETIC that makes a brand truly ‘beautiful’.
.
The consistent combination of meaningful imagery with expressive and well-thought-out words is what connects with your viewer on a level where they want to engage further.

Side note… this is easier said than done. It requires a true, deep understanding of one’s self or brand so that the right ideas or concepts are being expressed. Oh, and as soon as you nail it down… it evolves. ;)

So, what’s the brand tip here? Find photos or images that match the tone of your brand and evoke an emotional response in accordance with the message you’re trying to get across.

And if you’re struggling to define just what it is that you want to get across then maybe it’s time to engage with a brand developer who will ask the tough, meaningful questions to get you there.
